Taiz – Hundreds of mourners gathered today in Taiz to bid farewell to Aftehan Al-Mashhri, the Director of the Cleaning and Improvement Fund in Taiz Governorate, who was tragically killed in a recent attack. Her funeral, held at Al-Saeed Mosque, drew a wide array of attendees including government officials, military leaders, civil society representatives, and grieving citizens. Following the prayer service, her body was transported to her hometown in Al-Mashawla, Al-Ma’afir District, where she was laid to rest amid heartfelt tributes and expressions of sorrow.
