The Dorset Community Foundation's BCP Food and Energy Support Fund, backed by BCP Council and the government’s Household Support Fund, is inviting applications until Monday, October 13. These grants are intended for activities benefiting BCP residents between November and March. The fund aims to support various initiatives, including access to food through free or low-cost meals, vouchers, cooking equipment and skills training. Energy support is also a focus, with funding available for energy-efficient items like electric blankets, payments to fuel providers, or the establishment of warm spaces. This is the ninth round of funding, with the previous round awarding almost £280,000 to 38 voluntary groups and charities in the BCP area.
