The Wimborne Christian Aid Group is showcasing eight decades of images and campaign posters. The display will be at Wimborne Minster until Saturday, October 11. Christian Aid was set up by British and Irish churches after World War Two to help refugees in Europe. Mike Lunt from the Wimborne Group said: "Some of the poster captions were challenging – for example ‘We believe in life before death’ and ‘Every second someone gets relief from hunger’. "They reflect situations that still exist today and highlight the importance of Christian Aid’s continuing work.
