Officers have released data showing foot patrols that have been done by the officers under Op Track. The force has been carrying out high-visibility patrols in hotspots across Bournemouth after data analysts mapped ASB and violent crime reports to identify where officers were most needed. During the past seven days 94 foot patrols were carried out with an average patrol length of 34 minutes. Officers have said there are wider foot patrols that take place outside of the Op Track format, but the released data relates specifically to their data analysed hotspots for 2025. Posting on Facebook, Dorset Police said: “We have seen significant reduction in on street crime and anti-social behaviour as a direct result of these foot patrols.
