Police are appealing for information after a pony was killed in a hit-and-run collision on a New Forest road. At around 11.45am on Tuesday September 23, a blue Ford travelling towards Godshill struck Truffles, an 18-year-old Shetland Cross. Officers said the car left animal hair under the nearside wheel arch and damage to the headlight cluster.
