Britam introduced insurance solutions tailored to flood-related risks, paying over KSh20 million in claims to affected households using advanced technology to automate payouts without traditional paperwork. In line with the fresh innovative solutions, Gitogo led efforts to align Britam’s operations with Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) principles. Britam leveraged its microinsurance operations to cater to underserved populations while developing initiatives to enhance disaster preparedness and sustainable development in Kenya and the East African region.
