Jimmy Kimmel is set to return on Tuesday night, less than a week after ABC abruptly took Jimmy Kimmel Live!
“Beginning Tuesday night, Sinclair will be preempting Jimmy Kimmel Live!
across our ABC affiliate stations and replacing it with news programming,” Sinclair said in a statement on Monday.
Sinclair operates 39 ABC affiliate stations in 18 states and the District of Columbia, according to its website.
Nexstar owns 24 ABC affiliates and partners with nine other stations across more than 20 states, per its website.
