Lauderdale County School District’s students and staff represented their district well as it received an A rating for the 2024-25 school year on state accountability testing. Clarkdale elementary and high schools, Northeast middle and high schools and Southeast Middle School saw their scores increase. Southeast Middle School rose from a B in the 2023-24 assessment to an A, while Southeast High School dropped from an A to a B in the same time period. Overall, schools throughout the state saw declining scores on this year’s assessments, which comes after multiple years of improvement.
