– Northcrest Baptist Church will celebrate a milestone in its vision to serve the next generation with a groundbreaking ceremony for a new 20,000-square-foot youth facility on Sunday, Oct. 5, immediately following its 10:30 a.m. worship service. The new facility, designed by LPK Architects and located on the former Dixie Bowl Lanes site on North Hills Street, is expected to be completed in 12–14 months. It will serve junior high and high school students across the community with spaces designed for worship, study, fellowship and outreach. The project represents five years of fundraising and two years of planning, and is part of the church’s mission to reach families and newer generations. “This new building will open doors to reach more students with the gospel, help them grow as leaders, and send them out to impact their families, schools, and communities,” said Student Pastor Caleb Monaghan.
