Mark Wahlberg, a Dorchester native and avid basketball fan, is returning to Massachusetts this October to film a new movie called Weekend Warriors in Shrewsbury. Filming is scheduled to take place from Oct. 3 to Oct. 8. The Shrewsbury Select Board approved a request submitted by Apple Studios to film on Grafton Street at Flynn's Truck Stop. Drivers should be on the lookout for potentially slowed traffic on Route 20 during the afternoon hours. "It's a great story," said Mark Fitzgerald, a location manager with Apple Studios, in a statement shared with CBS News Boston.
