Flu vaccine clinics begin across San Luis Obispo CountyVaccines covered by insurance with free options for uninsured– Flu season has begun, and vaccines are available at local pharmacies, San Luis Obispo County Public Health clinics in Paso Robles and San Luis Obispo, and at a new series of free pop-up flu vaccine events starting this week. “Getting your annual flu vaccine helps protect your health and the community during the fall and winter months,” said Dr. Penny Borenstein, County Health Officer. Community members can also receive free flu shots at pop-up events countywide from Oct. 1 through Nov. 5.
