With a long history of political activism, the nominee was the secretary of NADECO in Texas, USA, Assistant Secretary, Alliance for Democracy, Osun state, old Oyo state coordinator of NADECO national delegate, defunct Social Democratic Party campaign secretary, defunct SDP in old Oyo state and a strong youth activist under the defunct Unity Party of Nigeria.
