Cooking Gas Price Slash Looms As Stranded Consignment Delivered In LagosLAGOS, NIGERIA (AFRICAN EXAMINER) – Hope of price slash of the Liquefied Petroleum Gas, (cooking gas) looms as the stranded vessel on the water with the product has finally delivered its consignment in Lagos. The Punch reported that the General Manager External Relations, NLNG, Kudo Eresia-Eke, said in an emailed statement, “NLNG’s LPG vessel successfully discharged 13,000 tonnes of LPG to Lagos jetty over the weekend. “The vessel is scheduled to return to NLNG’s facility in Bonny to re-load‎. The organization said its board recently approved an increase in the LPG dedicated for supply into the domestic market from 250,000 metric tons to 350,000 metric tons annually. Following the recent shortage in its supply, 12.5 kg of LPG, jerked up from former N3200 to between N4000 and N5000 in December last year.
