Several projects will impact roadways in Chester and Delaware counties over the next several weeks. Starting Monday, Oct. 6, Palmers Mill Road in Marple Township, Delaware County, will be closed for utility work. The detour will be Route 320 (Sproul Road), Cedar Grove Road, and Route 252 (Newtown Street Road). Paving restoration will close Concord Road in Westtown Township, Chester County, beginning Monday, Oct. 13. From Oct. 13 through Thursday, Nov. 13, the road will be closed on weekdays between Westbourne Road and Oakbourne Road from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.A detour will be in effect via Oakbourne Road, U.S. 202, Route 926 (Street Road), and Concord Road.
