Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) club, Warri Wolves, are set to bring in Kennedy Boboye as their new head coach after the suspension of Aluma Napoleon earlier this week. Warri Wolves suspended Napoleon following a poor run of form that has seen the Seasiders struggle for consistency this season. Napoleon’s exit opened the door for Boboye, who is widely respected in the NPFL after stints with Plateau United and Akwa United. Meanwhile, Rivers United are celebrating progress in the CAF Champions League after edging out FS Les Aigles of DR Congo 1-0 on aggregate. Rivers United will meet Mozambican champions Black Bulls in the next round.
