A disorderly woman who tried to steal beer from a local business resisted the responding police officers, according to a criminal complaint. Kaila Blackwell, 34, is charged with criminal trespass, public drunkenness and resisting arrest. When officers arrived, they found Blackwell walking west on Olive Street and took her into custody. Patel told officers Blackwell had come inside the business several times throughout the day and was asked to leave. At 6:30 p.m., Blackwell returned to the store and attempted to take beer.
