A Bath man is facing multiple felony charges after deputies say he fired a rifle at another person during a child custody exchange. Jason M. Christian, 39, was arrested Saturday following a Steuben County Sheriff’s Office investigation. Officials say Christian shot multiple rounds at the victim’s vehicle while the victim was still inside. He’s charged with:Attempted murder in the second degree (Class C felony)Criminal use of a firearm in the first degree (Class B felony)Criminal possession of a firearm (Class E felony)Menacing in the second degree (Class A misdemeanor)Christian was arraigned and remanded to the Steuben County Jail on $50,000 cash bail. Sheriff Jim Allard thanked the New York State Police and Canisteo Village Police Department for their assistance in the case.
