The American Legion, Escondido Post 149 and Brothers of 6 Charities hosted First Responders Patriot Day 9-11 remembrance dinner “We Will Never Forget” on Saturday, September 6 in the evening. Certificates were giving to the leadership from the Escondido Fire Fighters , Cal Fire Valley Center, San Marcos Fire Fighters, San Pasqual Fire Fighters, and first responder nurses! Adrienne Cisneros-Selekman, Fifth District Supervisor Jim Desmond’s community liaison, presented the certificates, which read: “It is with heartfelt pride and deep gratitude that I extend my appreciation to our courageous first responders on this special Patriot Day 9/11Remembrance Dinner. As we remember the lives lost on September 11th and honor the heroes who answered the call, your steadfast commitment, bravery, and relentless service are a living testament to the very best of who we are as a nation.
