This year’s annual Grape Day Festival hosted by the Escondido History Center and the Brothers of Six, was celebrated last week on Saturday at Grape Day Park. The Wa$xayam Pomki Museum from the Rincon Reservation had a booth where they created a hoop and stick game. Other notable groups present included, CERT (Community Emergency Response Team), the Escondido Fire Department, the Miss Escondido Pageant, San Diego County Credit Union, Shakey’s, Love Esco, and more. Also several food trucks and pop-up food places selling everything from bao, to Japanese street food, Mexican food, ice cream and other treats.
