The Andalusia Public Library has started a new program called “Homeschool Hangouts.”The sessions are arts-based or seasonal, offering enrichment and support for local homeschooling families. September’s Hangout was a study of 20th century artist Wassily Kandinsky featuring the book Meet Wassily Kandinsky from the Meet the Artist series. Homeschoolers will had an opportunity to create their own version of Kandinky’s famous concentric circles color study. The next Homeschool Hangout will be held on October 13 featuring impressionist artist, Monet.
