Andalusia Fire Department given best ISO rating to date Published 12:40 pm Friday, September 19, 2025Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...On September 16 the Andalusia Fire Department underwent their annual pump and hydraulics testing and received the best rating the Insurance Services Office has ever issued them. The department completed their pump testing on Tuesday, just off the square in downtown Andalusia. The ISO rating system is on a scale from one to ten, one being the worst and ten the best. This year, the Andalusia Fire Department scored a three, which is the highest rating the station has ever received. A department with a high ISO rating will help lower the cost of insurance in the area they serve.
