Wallace Community College was one of seven schools to create a league of flag football teams. Although there have been high schools who have created flag football teams, this league is the first of its kind at the collegiate level in our area. The league consists of LBWCC, Snead State CC, Bishop State CC, Wallace State CC at Hanceville, Calhoun CC, and Northwest Shoals CC. The rules of flag football vary greatly from standard football regulations, although basic mechanics of the game are the same. She had seen people posting about LBW starting a new flag football team, but she wasn’t sure she would have time for another extracurricular.
