Bridge work to close Potter Road September 22-25 Published 12:53 pm Friday, September 19, 2025Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...Covington County officials announced that Potter Road will be closed Monday, September 22 through Thursday, September 25, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. each day. The closure is required to allow crews to perform necessary work on the bridge at Poley Creek. The road will reopen to traffic outside of these working hours. “We recognize the inconvenience caused by temporary closures, but these improvements are essential for the safety and long-term use of our county roadways,” county officials said.
