Kingdown Road in Bristol will be closed on Wednesday, September 24, as Openreach is set to replace a pole. Bishops Road in Cleeve will also close temporarily for six hours on Thursday, September 25, due to a pole replacement by Openreach. Old Church Road in Clevedon will be closed from Monday, 13 October, for highway drainage maintenance works. Exemptions are included for emergency services, works access, works vehicles, and a works permit for premises which may only be accessed via the closed section of road. North Somerset Council said that while each order is set for a maximum period of 18 months, the closures will only be implemented as necessary.
