Eligible applicants include not-for-profit community groups and charities, both inside and outside Nailsea, that can show their work directly benefits the town's residents. Jo Duffy, town clerk, said: "We encourage all eligible groups to submit their applications before the deadline of September 30." In 2025, a wide array of community organisations and events were supported by the grants, highlighting the diversity of local activities funded by the council. These included the Friends of Stockway North Nature Reserve, Nailsea Carnival Committee, 1st Nailsea Scouts, Nailsea Community Skatepark Festival & Showcase, and Nailsea Festival of Music. Other beneficiaries were Somerset Farmers’ Markets, Wellspring Counselling, North Somerset Citizens Advice, North Somerset LGBTQ+, Nailsea Theatre Club, and Nailsea Community Group.
