Since opening in October 2021, Pill Repair Cafe has gone from strength to strength, its organisers said. Repair cafe chair Rachel Harvey said the community response has been “overwhelmingly positive.”“People are delighted to have their items restored,” she said. This year, the cafe’s success also enabled it to make a contribution to Pill Community Centre, funding replacement consumables for the Public Access Defibrillator installed in 2023. We are extremely grateful for this support to help keep this life-saving equipment available for the benefit of the community.”The next Pill Repair Cafe will be held from 10.30am to 12.30pm on Saturday, October 13 at Pill Community Centre.
