Her Highness Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairperson of Dubai Culture and Arts Authority (Dubai Culture), visited Christie’s Dubai at the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) to mark the 20th anniversary of the global auction house’s presence in the emirate. During her visit, Her Highness toured Christie’s exhibition titled ‘The Collection of Robert F. and Patricia G. Ross Weis’, which is being showcased in Dubai ahead of its upcoming sale. Her Highness Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed said: “Celebrating Christie’s 20 years in Dubai is also a tribute to the city’s journey in establishing itself as a hub for creativity and cultural dialogue. It was an honour to be the first international auction house to have a presence in the United Arab Emirates, and one we have held close ever since. Holding our inaugural auction in Dubai was an ambition achieved through partnership and mutual support.
