[]
The Coventry Observer
A NEW electric vehicle (EV) charging method for drivers who park on the street is coming to Coventry.
Coventry City Council has partnered with Trojan Energy to pilot Trojan Home, which is designed for EV owners who do not have driveways.
During the pilot, 20 households across Coventry will use Trojan Home units to charge their EVs.
The trial will run for 12 months, during which Trojan Energy and Coventry City Council will evaluate performance, usage, and community impact.
Coun Jim O’Boyle, Coventry City Council’s Cabinet Member for Jobs, Regeneration, and Climate Change, said: “This pilot is another example of how we’re using proven technology to make electric vehicle charging more accessible, affordable, and inclusive for residents.
