Heritage Open Days opens doors to Coventry’s past, present and future

FREE tours, activities and events will be on offer as over 50 buildings and spaces in Coventry open their doors during the annual Heritage Open Days celebration.
Visitors to St Mary’s Guildhall, one of the venues taking part, will be able to explore centuries of historical architecture and interiors along with the renowned medieval Coventry Tapestry.
Coun Abdul Salam Khan, Coventry City Council’s Deputy Leader and Cabinet Member for Events, said: “Heritage Open Days is the perfect way to discover Coventry’s past, present and future, completely free of charge.
I encourage residents and visitors to the city of all ages and interests to explore and enjoy.”Heritage Open days begins tomorrow Friday (September 12) and runs until Sunday September 21.
