THE ‘REMARKABLE’ achievements of young people on Coventry City Council’s Employment and Adult Education Service study programmes have been celebrated at a special awards ceremony. The event shone a spotlight on 86 learners aged 16-24 who have taken part in a range of study programmes which provide opportunities for young people – most of whom have special educational needs – to gain work experience. This year’s learners completed placements with employers including University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire, Amazon, Coventry City Council, and Woodfield School. “Programmes like these not only transform individual lives but also strengthen our community by fostering inclusion and unlocking potential. My thanks also go to the employers, partners, and staff who make this success possible.”Contact Tammy Sheldon at [email protected] or on 07976 249918 for more information about the Study Programmes.
