AN INSPIRED display from Coventry City goalkeeper Carl Rushworth saw the first M69 derby of the season with Leicester City end goalless. Rushworth made nine saves, including a crucial second-half stop to deny Stephy Mavididi, in a stalemate at the King Power Stadium. Leicester went close inside the first 20 seconds as Bobby Thomas deflected Jordan Ayew’s scuffed effort into the side netting. Rushworth held another effort from Mavididi soon after and also kept out a shot from Faes from distance as the first period ended goalless. And Rushworth then held substitute Julian Carranza’s tame back-post header after Fatawu floated a cross into the box from the right.
