COVENTRY City under-21s cruised to a comfortable 4-0 win away at Crewe Alexandra to move up to second in the table. The young Sky Blues took an early lead courtesy of Callum Perry’s penalty before Elliot Betjemann doubled City’s advantage before the break. Siddall all but sealed the points for City on 57 minutes after Crewe gave the midfielder too much time to pick his spot. And Wright completed the scoring three minutes from time as the young Sky Blues secured their biggest win of the season so far. Coventry’s under-21s are next in action against Hull City on Tuesday, October 7 with kick-off at 1pm at the Coventry Building Society Arena.
