In early September, 400 foodservice professionals from across the country gathered at Royal Randwick in Sydney to celebrate the winners of the 2025 National Awards of Excellence. Held by the FoodService Association Australia (FSAA), the awards recognise individuals and organisations making a clear impact across the supply chain. “These awards highlight the people and businesses that keep foodservice moving. The Business Management Scholarship was awarded to David March (Unilever Food Solutions) and the Marketing Scholarship to Silvia Smarrelli (Bega Food Group). “From established leaders to those just beginning their journey, the Awards of Excellence reflect the strength of Australian foodservice.”The award sponsors were Simplot Australia, Unilever Food Solutions, TipTop Foodservice, Fine Food Australia, Anchor Food Professionals and Nestlé Professional.
