Blackstock is a New York Times-bestseller author of Legacy: A Black Physician Reckons with Racism in Medicine.
Blackstock and her twin sister, Oni, were the first Black mother-daughter legacy students to attend Harvard Medical School — their mother had received her medical degree three decades before.
