An Edinburgh clinic is offering a day of free consultations to people who have had complications from cosmetic treatments. The Stockbridge Clinic has announced “complications day,” a dedicated day on October 25, where patients affected by non-surgical aesthetic procedures can receive assessments at no charge. Currently in Scotland, under-18s are not banned from receiving cosmetic treatments, unlike in England, where stricter regulations have been implemented. Following a public consultation, the Scottish Government is preparing to introduce the Non-Surgical Cosmetic Procedures Bill by May 2026. Patients who wish to access the free consultations at The Stockbridge Clinic are being asked to email the clinic with details of their complication, photographs, and relevant treatment history.
