A man has appeared in court charged with abduction and attempted murder after a woman was found injured in East Kilbride.
A 45-year-old man was arrested and charged with attempted murder.
Kevin Costello, from Glasgow, made no plea during an appearance at Hamilton Sheriff Court on Tuesday.
The 45-year-old was charged with assault to injury as well as abduction, danger of life and attempted murder.
