A detour is in place at the tunnel and affecting Kent-bound traffic from south Essex as a result of the incident. According to the AA, the bike suffered a tyre blowout in the left-hand tunnel, with traffic now queuing from Junction 1a for the A2026 and M25 Junction 31. An update from the AA states: “Two lanes closed and queueing traffic due to a stalled motorbike on M25 Dartford Tunnel anticlockwise from J1a A206 (Dartford) to M25 J31 (Lakeside / Purfleet). “After a tyre blowout in the left-hand tunnel. Detour in operation - via the (taller) right-hand tunnel.”Traffic is also building on the QEII Bridge as a result of an earlier stalled vehicle.
