- Advertisement -Copenhagen-based SUMM Ingredients, formerly known as Nutrumami, has secured €1.7 million in new funding from EIFO and BoxOne, with existing investors Kost Capital and Planetary Impact Ventures also participating. The company develops multifunctional fermented proteins and is preparing to launch its first ingredient, FermiPro, later this year. Alongside the raise, SUMM Ingredients has added Kasper Bus, formerly of AAK and Barry Callebaut, as Chief Commercial Officer to strengthen its leadership team. SUMM Ingredients develops fermented protein ingredients intended for use in plant-based, hybrid, and conventional food products.
