Children copy the behaviours of parents, guardians, and adults around them, so when adults proudly take part in Fruity Wednesdays, they set a powerful example for the next generation. It’s a national pride issueGrenada takes great pride in its culture, music, and traditions. Choosing fruits over processed snacks is not only healthier, it also supports our farmers, boosts national pride, and teaches our children the value of eating what we grow. The hope is that more citizens will begin to wean themselves off unhealthy snacks and embrace our local fruits — instead choosing pride, choosing health, choosing local and choosing Grenada.
