September 30, (THEWILL) — President Bola Tinubu on Monday held a high-level investment meeting in Lagos with two globally renowned Nigerian financiers, Hakeem Belo-Osagie and Bayo Ogunlesi. Belo-Osagie is Chairman of Metis Capital Partners and a Senior Lecturer at Harvard Business School, while Ogunlesi is Chairman of Global Infrastructure Partners and Senior Managing Director at BlackRock. Talks focused on mobilising large-scale global capital for Nigeria’s upstream oil and gas sector and for critical infrastructure projects seen as key to long-term economic transformation. The visiting investors praised the Tinubu administration’s reform initiatives, describing them as positive steps to strengthen Nigeria’s standing as a competitive destination for global capital.
