September 29, (THEWILL) — The Nigeria Football Federation has confirmed that the Super Eagles will face Venezuela and Colombia in two international friendlies during November’s FIFA window, with both matches taking place on American soil. The fixtures provide manager and staff crucial opportunities to assess squad depth and tactical approaches against opponents from outside the African continent. Nigeria’s opening engagement sees them travel to Shell Stadium in Houston, Texas, where they will meet Venezuela on Friday, November 14, with an 8pm local kick-off scheduled. The venue choice allows both nations to compete under floodlights whilst adjusting to conditions away from their respective home territories. Four days afterwards, on Tuesday, November 18, the three-time African champions will face Colombia at Citi Field Stadium in New York.
