It’s not necessarily that I’m thinking, “Oh, this object has its own will,” but how do we respect previous relationships that this object had that are still relevant today? People think I’m a really spiritual person, but I’m thinking more that if I don’t know, I can’t say it doesn’t work. Abstraction is a form, but I don’t know how to read those abstractions. I’m agnostic, and I’m with you: I know what I don’t know. They’re thinking about that.
