Keira Lindsay was crowned Miss Dorset in August, her very first pageant, and will take to the national stage with a clear purpose: to raise understanding of Tourette’s and mental health issues among young people. The university student hopes to combine her academic studies with her pageant platform, using both science and creativity to champion awareness of neurodiversity. Entering Miss Dorset changed everything not just because I won, but because I realised that my story could inspire others.
