Natwest, in Ringwood, is closing on Wednesday, October 1 as part of a nationwide switch up which will see 55 branches shut. Following the closure, the nearest NatWest branches will be Bournemouth, Lymington and Poole. He said: “Alas, as more and more of us move to online banking, the cost of keeping branches open for the few that remain is difficult to justify. It also said that 72 per cent of customers using the branch also use online banking between February 2024 and January 2025. NatWest said the way people bank is changing and the ease of mobile and online services mean less people visit branches in person.
