From now until March 2026, works will be taking place in the seaside town to make getting around easier for residents and visitors. These improvements will include road resurfacing, pedestrian barrier replacements, rebuilt footpaths, and refurbished traffic signals. Councillor Michael Cheyne, executive member for highways at the county council said: “I am delighted that we can bring all these works to Skegness across these months. These works for Anglian Water and the National Grid have been planned in the same period to minimise traffic disruption. Councillor Jimmy Brookes, who looks after the Skegness South ward, said: “This is a major investment for Skegness that I fully welcome.
