American Airlines and Porter Partner to Expand U.S.–Canada Travel Options

American Airlines and Porter Airlines have announced a new codeshare partnership that will give travelers more options when flying between the United States and Canada.
American will also codeshare on Porter’s Toronto–Phoenix flights, with more cross-border routes expected.
By expanding connectivity and loyalty rewards, American and Porter are positioning their partnership as a way to help reverse these declines and make cross-border travel more attractive.
“Canada is one of the most popular destinations for travelers, and American is excited to partner with Porter Airlines to unlock more travel options for customers,” said Anmol Bhargava, American’s Senior Vice President of Global Alliances.
Both airlines said the partnership will continue to grow, with more destinations and enhanced loyalty benefits to come.
