Fast forward 1.5 years, they have just greenlit a new employee of similar caliber for part 3 after their probation ended. Weeks passed, my manager wanted to speak to me. even though we do similar work and most of the time I need to teach the employee things that he doesnt know. I told my manager I dont want to step on anyone's toes but I was disappointed. Can't change jobs as I'm sponsored and its very difficult finding sponsored jobs these days.
