Two people are in hospital after a serious crash this morning (Friday, September 19) on the A1, between junctions 45 and 46, near Wetherby. One person was transported by an air ambulance while the other was taken to hospital by road. A Yorkshire Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "We received an emergency call at 10.05am this morning (September 19) to report a road traffic collision on the A1 between junctions 45 and 46. "A number of ambulance resources were dispatched to the scene, including an ambulance and the air ambulance. One patient was conveyed to hospital by air ambulance and another patient was conveyed to hospital by road."
