Hurricane Humberto brings risk of stormy weather this week, could Storm Amy arise? Hurricane Humberto heads towards the UK bringing some potentially stormy conditions this week, could Storm Amy arise as a result? Early on this week, we will see a north, south split, with plenty of wet weather expected across north western parts of the country through the week. A yellow weather warning is in force across much of Strathclyde until Friday as further heavy rain is likely. The system arriving at the end of the week with remnants of Hurricane Humberto has the potential to develop into the first named storm of the season - Storm Amy.
