Work on this massive undertaking is set to begin this Friday, October 3rd, and won't likely be completed until late Spring 2026, with progress dependent on weather conditions and other factors that can impact construction timelines. This section of Hearne Avenue services nearly 20,000 motorists per day on average, providing an important connection between major highways such as I-20, LA 3132 and points further north in Shreveport.
